Change your life with Reading

If you had a problem, what would you do or who would you talk to?

I think some people might hang out and grab something with his/her friend. Perhaps one of their favorite dishes to make them feel fresh, meet up with close friends, and some find another way to solve their problems: reading. Nowadays, people have changed their habits to read more, and also encourage other the new generation to follow this habit as well. Actually, a small group of people include reading as a part of their life; they use this to cure their pain, motivate and inspire themselves, and to gain knowledge; especially since sometimes they don’t know who to share their feelings with and could feel uncomfortable discussing private matters with others. It is also a great idea to spare some time for reading because we can learn a lot of things such as new ideas, perspectives of others, critical thinking, and reflect on our own views.

For me, I haven’t read a lot of books, but today I will recommend you one that I think can have a very powerful impact. I love to read romance novels but I’m not going to talk about that today. I guess romance novels might sound boring to you, right? So I have one book which talks about life that I want to share with you.

I know that life can sometimes make you feel confused and maybe you want to quit everything you are surrounded by. But if life was as easy as you wish it to be, it might perhaps be meaningless that way.

Yeah, I know it can get really complicated and messed up sometimes. And you get tired of it, need a rest and almost give up right? I can say that people almost tasted it, even me I also had those feeling before.

If so, you should take time to relax and read this book. It will change how you feel, motivate and improve you. It may also help decide what you are going to do to get out from those moods. It can help to guide you to a happy and a peaceful life.

It is one of the best books that I have read. I bought it at book-fair I am really happy to share this book with you.

The book called Discover your Greatness. It is written to prove that human beings are the great thing on us because we inherit great seeds within us from birth. It means that, as human being, we are capable to do great things and achieve everything around us. We shouldn’t focus on negative environments that we have faced.

We should deal with this negative issues in other to get out from this situation and remember that if we haven’t met this thing our life isn’t improving. Plus, those issues aren’t come along with you since your birth, it just an obstacle that make you stronger in the future.

There are 101 lessons in this book for you to read and the book, is divided into 6 parts: Life, Attitude, Heart, Relationship, Decision, and Growth. It can really benefit you as these are the most pressing matters that we are almost certain to be faced with. Also included in this book are prominent individuals and historical figures. “One of the quotes I love the most is this one: Folks are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.” — Abraham Lincoln

The author of this book is a Cambodian man who moved to the USA in 1992. His name is Vaddhanan P. Kol.

It is not only the lessons captured in the book that are valuable, the author’s life journey is also very interesting. As you can read in the introduction of this book, Vaddhanan provides glimpses of his life. When he first moved to a new country, he wasn’t able to speak and write fluently, but he kept trying and never gave up, and now he become an author of this book also he currently teaches and trains character building and leadership at Pannasastra University of Cambodia.

I think, it proves that whatever we put all our effort in to, will pay off one day. It might take a long time to accomplish, but if you have the endurance and stay calm throughout, it will bring you to a really good outcome.

This book taught me a lot of things such as, if you dream it do it, get out from your comfort zone, focus on improving myself rather than staying focussed on my weaknesses, treat my life as I want, and not let life treat me as it wants to; especially with self-confidence, and many things other things that I could apply to my living. I usually re-read this book when I feel disappointed or get lost myself.

5tips to be a successful person that I think everyone should follow are:

  • Get out of your comfort zone
  • Pursue your dream now
  • Always believe in yourself
  • Focus on improving yourself rather than trying to be someone else
  • Learn from your mistakes

I highly recommend this book because it is smaller and thinner than other books, which means you can feel relaxed when you start the journey of reading it.

If you don’t have enough time to read, you should read one chapter per day or maybe read it when you are feeling down.

For me, To be a happy person you should ignore the negative things that bring you down but don’t forget to learn about your mistakes. Once more, people always made mistakes and you too. You should forgive them and let go so that you will feel free and relax. Besides these things, you should try to be who you are and follow your passion; not other design for you.
